  1. Welcome to Alchemy! Please note:

  3. 1. If you are a first-time Alchemy user, listen up: 
  4. Alchemy is NOT an HTML editor (although it *does* have 
  5. a very nice one built in)! Please read the Overview 
  6. section of the manual BEFORE you try to create a project,
  7. or you will not be a happy camper. You can pick up the 
  8. basics in the first few paragraphs, it will only take you 
  9. five minutes, and it will save you hours of frustration. 
  10. Don't you *dare* send us tech support e-mail if you 
  11. haven't read the Overview (and we'll know, believe me!).

  13. 2. Please make sure you have a WINSOCK.DLL available 
  14. before starting the application; Alchemy will not run
  15. without it. For example, if you are using Trumpet 
  16. Winsock, load TCPMAN.EXE before starting Alchemy.
